Bio

Books have always been at the centre of my life.

 

As a lifelong bibliophile and bookseller, I developed a deep appreciation not only for the stories they contain, but also for the craftsmanship that gives them form and permanence.

I am currently studying for a BA in Craft Practices (Bookbinding) at West Dean College, where I am refining traditional bookbinding techniques and exploring the rich heritage of the craft. My work is rooted in a belief that books are objects to be treasured, cared for, and passed from one generation to the next.

Drawing on both my experience in the book trade and my training as a bookbinder, I create and restore books with a commitment to quality, longevity, and attention to detail. Whether crafting a bespoke binding, restoring a cherished volume, or producing archival enclosures, I aim to honour the traditions of this historic craft while ensuring that each piece remains functional, beautiful, and enduring.
